London Camden Barfly - PlayLouder Singles Club

AKIRA'S VERDICT : So, the soundcheck was a LONG THING, as they say, yet somehow the gig was magical. Big love to Jeres and Wataru and Mary. That was proper. I was truly in doubt that we could rock that Monarch (and I had a very nasty hangover), yet rock we did, so proper. Dope city. If I have one regret it's not completing Lady In Red.

BEST SONG : Lady In Red, or Bankers

AKIRA'S VERDICT : IT FUCKING PISSED DOWN! ANd me and Jeres played in a tunnel to a mob of art hooligans! It was totally sweet! And we saw Ralph Steadman! Glory on stilts!

XFM's The Remix night
Friday, July 15

XFM's The Remix night at Cargo, London.

AKIRA'S VERDICT : BEST GIG EVER! My band ruled, Bashy and Narstie and Solo came on and did stuff off the mixtapes, the crowd was amazing, the sound was pretty good, and we got away with playing Love in a club context at 1am. And I DJed afterwards and played Bruza and Dead Prez. I was very happy. Mary lost her purse. MEAN!

BEST SONG : DREAMS, AIDS or Love
