Damn, another great show. I haven’t started taking that for granted yet, even though I’ve been doing this for half a year. I still worry it might fuck up irredeemable somehow. But no, it was FIRE again. Great music – lots of it from Marvin The Martian, whose classic début (download it free now in the Blobblog!) came out two years ago, and a gang of ish from my new favourite rap bastards, Odd Future, great chat, great stuff from you lot, a beautiful Doncast Dedication, letters read out as if they were raps, and am entirely unplanned live performance of Awed Of I right at the end, spurred on by a comment from Doncast Chatroom Regular and longtime friend of ours BloodRedTornado, who said I don’t do impromptu live stuff when I’m sober. Ha! In your face buddy!
And thank you, obviously, for spurring me on to do cool stuff. LOVE YOU GUYS!
OK, back to work. It is 11:00 am here in cloudy Industrial Estate East London, and I have already cycled 8.2 miles, run for 14 minutes on a treadmill (my personal record!) and put in half an hour on the crazy weight machines in Clissold Leisure centre. Right now I am gonna make some breakfast for my poorly girlfriend who is in bed reading Calvin And Hobbes comics, set the X-Box up in the bedroom so she can play it, then write a song. After which I shall cycle to Joey2tits yard and record it. POW! POW! GOOD DAY! TODAY IS GOOD DAY! LET US REJOICE! HOO GRAH!
