AS MENTIONED!

Since you lot have been doing such ace remixes lately, I recon a good way to kick at the coming winter will be an ATD mixtape comprised purely of great remixes by youse lot. SO! I have uploaded all the ATD16 acapellas, and shall, for the duration of the competition, make the Thieving acapellas available also. If anyone can think of any joints by me that came our THIS YEAR that aren’t in that lot, let us know, and I’ll try and get them up.

You can grab the ATD16 acapellas here. The Thieving acapellas are here. Happy remixing! You’ve got until the end of the month to get your remixes done. You can email to them to atd at akirathedon dot com, upload them to my dropbox (password – thedon). Then I will choose the greatest, and make a mixtape out of them, which will be available as a free download here, and distributed to radio and DJs all over the shop. GET YE IN! RAH!

    I figured it out!

    the dropbox works by email, you have to send the file to

    dropboxname at drop dot io

    problem is, your box has a "secret email key" and you have to edit that in admin settings.

    wikid,,,,,i have a few questions…..will you put up the old mixes weve done on the new re-mixtape, wat about duplicates of the same song?…if 2 remixes are hot and they use the same pella will you put both on the c.d? also this is prob a pain in the arse but any chance of tempos?

    anyway ive got some crazy concept idea which mite even be my own re-mixtape using all your pellas………….

    DG – old mixes of 08 material are for consideration… duplicartes in some instances might be mixed with other versions – so three remixes might make one "song"|, for instance… or if two are mega hot maybe in whole – alhtouhg there wont be room for a LOT of that…

    Got Money mix is done! sending it off…

    I'd be down for an acapella of "the tree". That song is amazing, wasn't in the thieving acapellas, and I want to synth it up.

    Sadly borhter, i lost the acapella for Unlearning in a horrid harddrive crash accident. That song is true stroris though. I dont think I ever released the full version did I? Maybe one day….

    Safe DJCS, I’ll look out for that. Same deal with The Tree sadly. Died in New York.

    is there a deadline? I haven’t touched music in some sort of weird self imposed 6 month sabbatical but have been getting in to Final Cut instead. But I am willing for this remix comp to dust off me monitors and drop some massive tune in order to try and get on the tape… Will resend the theiving rmx I did too… where I scalped the synth sounds from the BeeGees and is still a high point to my career.
