I caught Jay-Z at the Mk Bowl on Sunday, awesome set, then Linkin Park blew me away. No Jay-Z/Linkin link up though...or so we thought, just as half the crowd were dispersing Jay-Z and Linkin came on to do encore together...I'm not ashamed to admit it but there's a possibility I may have let out one of those teeny-bopper-girl-seeing-boyband type screams. Quality stuff, only dissapointment was shocking sound for NERD. Coming in from the metal side of things, that Jay-Z/Linkin album was one of my first toes in the door to listening to hip-hop (and of course Pix) and maybe some of the Korn Family Values type stuff as well...it took me back a few years for sure.

yep yep... saw both of these last night... fucking ace, goosebumps throughout. Just a truly great performer and top notch interviewee. I really liked his point about live hip hop too...

All those naysayers who were upset about him headlining glastonbury, with a canon of hits like that, they can't say shit, esp as 1 album twats like 'the killers' played that slot last year...
