Why Ms Johansson Made That record
Scarlett Johansson made that album because she was asked to, apparently.
The pretty actress lady told the Wall Street Journal that she was asked by a studio to record a cover album of Tom Waits Songs.
“I thought of all of my friends who were struggling musicians (who)
would kill for this opportunity, so I couldn’t really pass it up,” she
said.
Not the type to miss an opportunity to to get one over her pals, then eh?!

1st. I’d hit.
Sorry. This isn’t SOHH.com
I actually listened to her sampler it was weak. Did Bowie really do backing vocals?

I have to say that the album sounds way better than this. It’s still all annoying as fuck though to be honest. I couldn’t put my finger on it.

The album is a bit of a bore..they’ve done their best to hide her vocal frailties.
Why though would someone with such a god awful voice do a record just because they were asked to. I was once asked to attend a Westlife concert with someone but common sense told me I would never feel clean again so I gave it a miss.
Stick to singing Scarlet!!!
The album is on that STMusic Don (if you must put yourself through it)
