When We Were Young was my debut LP, recorded in LA, New York and London in 2005 on goliath Yank label Interscope’s quarter-million dollar, and originally released by UK indie Something In Construction in 2006.

    Jeffing fantastic!!! Only problem is Akira once said he'd get me the vocal track and bpm of dead babies so i could do a rock cover and he never did… DAMN YOU AKIRA… DAMN YOU TO HELL!!!

    Can I ask where the sound bytes from the opening of Back in the Day come from?  Sounds like a movie but I don’t know which.  I’d also like to say I like the use of the piano parts from Steinman/Meatloaf’s Lost Boys and Golden Girls in the song.

      Thank you mister clown. not a lot of people are familiar with that song. I love the whole album… as for the vocal samples, all the vocal samples on When We Were Young were taken from an old British TV show called The Prisoner…

        Thanks, I was curious as it made mention of persons named by numbers and I think I’ve heard reference to it before from an Iron Maiden song.  Just wanted to check it out.
