A couple of joints I did with Narstie showed up on this, his second mixtape. Diamonds and Still were were both on ATD9, and recorded back when I first met Narst in Brixton 2005. Dunno if I ever told you that story, but basically I was recording the AAA EP with much loved engineer Matt Foster at The Dairy studios, and I wanted to cop some weed. So Matt rang Narstie, who came round, and started rapping at me. “I can spit cuz, I’m funky,” he said, which was true. And his weed was great. We’ve been the best of pals ever since.
